‘Food at Home’ is a recently-published report from a knowledge exchange project which explored disabled and older people’s access to food, including shopping and cooking, adaptations and support. The project involved reviewing existing evidence and hearing directly from people with lived experience and government, local government, provider, DPO and NGO stakeholders from around the UK. The recommendations for action by different actors across government, homecare and food providers, food and meals retailers, funders, NGOs, DPOs and researchers aim to ensure that current food support is maintained and further support can be introduced.
