NASHICS
NASHiCS is a membership association that was formed in 2004 to promote and improve safety and health in care practice by providing a sharing and networking forum to encourage the development and adoption of the highest professional standards. As the association has grown, we have secured a voice for the sector in relation to Health and Safety with policy writers and regulators, to ensure that the care sector is duly supported and heard.
IDDSI
To facilitate the safe consumption and enjoyment of food and drink by all persons with eating and drinking difficulties (dysphagia) by maintaining the IDDSI Framework, a common language and system of practical and valid measurement techniques for naming and describing food texture and drink thickness; continuing to provide free access to the IDDSI Framework, documents, and electronic resources; and fostering global implementation and use of IDDSI.
Love British Food
Love British Food is the leading national promotion of British food and the only organisation that encourages retailers and the caterers responsible for sourcing food in our schools, hospitals and food outlets with the aim to make British food their supplier of choice.
A year-long campaign culminating in British Food Fortnight in the Autumn giving commercial benefits to UK business and organisations that take part. The campaign is THE opportunity for everyone to come together and promote the benefits of buying and eating our delicious British produce. British Food Fortnight always takes place over the last week of September and the first week of October giving caterers and retailers specific dates to concentrate their efforts for promotions.

Lead Association for Catering in Education
LACA Ltd aims to set high standards of professionalism in Local Authority catering; to be the lead consultative body to the Government on all aspects of School Food and in delivering healthy eating policies and to equip local authority caterers with the necessary skills, knowledge and support which will enable them to meet the changing demands in the Industry.
Hospital Caterers Association
The aims and objectives of the Association are the promotion and improvement of the standards of catering in hospitals and healthcare establishments in Great Britain, Northern Ireland and elsewhere; the education and training of persons in health care catering services, and the provision and improvement of the professional interests and status of those engaged in health care catering services.

The British Dietetic Association, established in 1936, is the professional association for dietitians. Its aims are to advance the science and practice of dietetics and associated subjects, promote training and education in the science and practice of dietetics and associated subjects, regulate the relations between dietitians and their employer through the BDA Trade Union.

PACE
PACE (Professional Association for Catering Education) is the representative body for the hospitality and catering education and training sector in England with links to colleagues in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
We operate at a regional and national level. Our network of members currently includes 280 colleges, with links to 30 universities offering hospitality and catering, and in many regions a range of local schools. This equates to the representation of some 5,000 hospitality and catering lecturers and 100,000 students - 40% of which already work in the industry in roles such as chef and hospitality manager.
