The Welsh Region welcomes members from across the country. We hold three seminars throughout the year and always aim to fill the meetings with relevant topics for anyone working in the care sector, for example dementia care and nutritional advice.

Pauline Batty, Monmouthshire Meals and Social and Health Care
Chair
Pauline has worked in care catering for nearly 30 years, employed by Monmouthshire County Council and feels very passionate about the right for everyone to have access to at least one hot nutritious meal 7 days a week. She has campaigned with the NACC to help tackle loneliness and isolation and highlights the need for Meals on Wheels services across the UK.
Pauline has acted as Welsh Chair for the NACC several times in the past and looks forward to working closely with Gareth and Mel to put together some exciting regional meetings to bring like-minded people together so we can share knowledge and experiences.
Gareth Edwards, Vantastec Ltd
Deputy Chair
Gareth is looking forward to building new memberships in the region to showcase the importance of the organisation.
His managing director’s role within Vantastec Ltd, including 10 years of membership with the NACC will hopefully strengthen our regional team.
Melanie Bowen, Vantastec Ltd
Secretary
Melanie is delighted to join the NACC Executive Board as the Welsh Regional Secretary. She believes that her role as Accounts & HR Director will be beneficial in supporting both Pauline and Gareth as we strive together to deliver change for future generations for all in care catering.
