West Sussex County Council’s Meals on Wheels service
Meals on Wheels customers across West Sussex will be treated to a free slice of strawberry gateau as part of the VE Day celebrations across the county.
West Sussex County Council’s Meals on Wheels service, provided by apetito, will be serving up the free dessert to approximately 650 customers to help them mark the occasion.
John Figgins, West Sussex County Council’s Head of Catering Services, said: “We know many people across West Sussex will be keen to celebrate VE Day, and our Meals on Wheels customers are no exception to this.
