Public Sector Catering Alliance - Industry Cost-of-Living Survey
Published: 9th February 2023
Concerns continue to grow across public sector catering that the current cost of living, food cost, supply and energy crisis are changing industry's ability to provide a catering service that lives up to expected standards.
The NACC is proud to be part of the Public Sector Alliance, (PSCA) along with other Associations like the Hospital Caterers Association, LACA and TUCO. It also comprises of caterers, dietitians, politicians, healthy eating campaigners and suppliers who operate in the public sector and use their collective influence to help drive government legislation and action towards helping people adopt healthier lifestyles through catering and education initiatives.
Following on from last year, PSCA are again looking to run the Cost-of-Living Survey to benchmark against last year’s results.
The survey is designed to give a snapshot of the concerns and risks that will be central to ongoing conversations about securing the required government support.
Please take 5-10 minutes of your time to fill in this survey using the link below.

The closing date for submissions has been extended to Wednesday, 15th February.
Please be candid and as honest as you can in your responses. The survey is anonymous, and the Alliance need to drill down to the issues caterers are facing on the front line. We appreciate all public sector caterers do their best for those they feed, but please do tell us how it really is to help us deliver the right message to Government and those in leadership.
Please note: The survey is aimed at service providers not for suppliers.
